Wanderlust

I wanna be where the mountains are
growing up beneath the stars
I wanna go, I wanna go
I wanna be where the rivers flow
And cascade through valleys below
I wanna go, I wanna go

I want to take my wife and kids
And see all the beauty life can give
I’ve got wanderlust running through my veins
I’ll work hard and I’ll earn my keep
But we’ll find joy in the simple things
I’ve got wanderlust running through my veins

I wanna go where the snow is deep in the winter
on the mountains steep
I wanna go, I wanna go
I wanna to be where the cliffs collide
With the ocean on the other side
I wanna go, I wanna go

I want to see the world renewed
Refreshed within my tiny view
I wanna go, I wanna go
I wanna learn to enjoy the ride
Not care about the normal life
I wanna go, I wanna go

Story: Do you ever step back and see that life has sucked you in again? It’s hard to explain or maybe it isn’t. Maybe you know exactly what I’m saying. That there is a life you’ve envisioned for yourself, yet you have strayed very far from that vision. I want to get back on that path. I have wanderlust. It’s a contagious desire to go on adventures and take people with me. I want to live an adventure.
