The 2012 Green Race

Well, I made it to the Green early. I was on the trail at 7:45am and when I arrived at Gorilla I was one of 3 people there. It’s freezing by the way when you are down by the river. I was in a great spot right on a rock looking directly into Gorilla and right beside Nies’ Pieces. Nies’ Pieces was where most of the good carnage happened. If someone screwed up on Gorilla, by the time they were finally up they are running scream machine, and if they haven’t swam yet they were bouncing down Nies’ Pieces and their gear was yard saled all through the following eddy. The flow was high today. I was told that it was 11″ and usually it runs at 7″. Anyhow, instead of rambling on about the race I will let some pictures do the talking.
